Howdy!
I was wondering if it is possible to "shift" or "nudge" the audio in a VideoStudio project. I couldn't find any relevant info in any FAQs or tutorials on the web, nor in the VS help file.
Let's say I capture (DV/AVI over firewire) a few clips, add them into the timeline, trim them as needed, and then I want to delay all audio by 2 frames - because I noticed, as I was capturing (but not BECAUSE of it), that the audio and video are out of sync. That is, I heard someone speaking before I saw his or her mouth open. In other words, the video is "lagging" or "behind" about 2 frames.
I know this is possible with Pinnacle's Studio program; you can just zoom in, lock the video track, and simply move the audio track further down the timeline by 2 frames.
Is this possible with VideoStudio, and if so, how can it be done? I'd be happy even if I had to trim the clips one by one, instead of all 4 at once.
I'd prefer using VideoStudio, as Pinnacle's Studio produced poor quality audio when making VCDs from DV/AVI source (I think it's the 48K down to 44K conversion, though Ulead won't admit it), and also Pinnacle's encoder seems to be slower than Ulead's.
Any help would be appreciated...thanks!
