I there a way to create different thumbnail for each chapter?
I know I can change the "Preview" thumbnail in the title page [rotate wheel in preview window to desired position, and then right click on the video clip in lower left, select "Change Thumbnail], but is there a way to do something similar for the chapter windows?
I'm kinda asking blind because I haven't yet completed a project with chapters so I'm assuming that I get preview windows of each chapter.
I created a single video file in the editor, then created chapters in the "Share > Create disk" menu. I've made 5 chapters where I put crossfades in the main video file, but in the chapter creation menu I couldn't find where or how to change the picture for each chapter.
Thanks

Taken from From Camcorder to DVD with Video StudioNomad wrote:When you right-click a chapter thumbnail in Edit mode then you are only really presented with the option to 'Hide Object' or not. But if you double-click the chapter thumbnail a new window pops up that presents you with a preview of your chapter clip and a jog bar that allows you to set a start-from position in the clip, and effectively allows you to alter the image of the chapter thumbnail. When previewed, the chapter thumbnail shows the start-from image that was set, but still starts from the actual beginning of the clip when played.

Sounds like you are in the VS main edit mode. The edit mode mentioned in the post above refers to edit when you are in the "Create Menu" section and have chosen a thumbnail menu from the gallery choice of menus.Darryl wrote:I get the "single trim clip" window by double clicking on the chapter in the library. I then select, by clicking on, the frame I want to be displayed, click ok but nothing changes. What am I missing? I have X2. Thanks

Speaking of chapters, how do I get the renamed chapters (When in Edit mode) to show up in the DVD gallery?
In edit mode I insert various chapter points in the timeline. Then, while still in edit mode, I open "Chapter Manager" and rename the chapter points. But when I compose the DVD menu I get chapter titles of "Chapter000", "Chapter001", "Chapter002", ...etc. not the names I used in the editor module.
I've read through the help files, but I must be missing something.
Thanks
