I have a video project for my in-laws that I am working on and have a slight problem. Several of the shots have some lens vignetting in the corners and in a few cases will be viewable in the finished project.
I have tried using the special crop feature but noticed it does a strange thing. It appears to do a zoom as the clip plays. Like each next frame is being cropped from the previous cropped frame size.
Is there a way to crop the clip without this "zoom" effect? In reading about the crop option in the manual, it appears this is more for stills then a video clip.
I know I could put a mask around the whole video when editing is done but I would like to avoid that if possible.

The crop filter is governed by key frames. By default you have one at the beginning and at the end. As an example of how key frames work, Corel places different values on the two. Changing the value of the end key frame to match the start key frame will give you the "static" look you want.

Just to add to Jeff's advice, if you right click on the little red diamond at the first key frame and choose "Copy and Paste to All" then the crop that you set in the first key frame will remain on all the the clip. Though you may like to look at the "Video Pan and Zoom" filter instead. This will allow you to fill the whole frame but you may loose a little quality depending how much you need to crop away.

Just to round it all off, the key frames are items A and B in this screen shot.
