Hi, All,
My VS Pro X2 is searching for an Audio file which I can't find and don't want anyway. Is it possible to stop its "Relink" message from displaying every time I load the Project File? I know I can uncheck the "Relink Checking Box", but is there another way?

The 'relink' popup box should have a 'Cancel' button. That doesn't cancel your attempt to load the project, just that particular file, and it shouldn't ever ask you again about it.Ted. wrote:VS Pro X2 is searching for an Audio file which I can't find and don't want anyway. Reason I suggested that is because it happens frequently enough to me for various reasons. I delete files, rename files, move them around, and VS has a fit every time. The feature does have value - at least it doesn't simply throw them away just because something 'changed.'Ted. wrote:\unfortunately I had tried that a few times and I still get the Relink Popup box coming up whenever I load the Project file.
How about this! Create a dummy/throwaway audio file of the correct name. (For example copy any audio file to the name it wants so badly.) Then let it relink, delete it from the project, and delete the file. This is just to make relink 'happy' and stop bothering you.
