hello everyone....

Post by marion666 »

:) Im not sure if this forum is the right place, but if it isnt im sure you will tell me!
So...im Marion and live in Holland with my 2 dogs and 2 cats. Im not so young, but im young at heart! 2 years ago i started computing,on an old xp of a friend of mine and got hooked on stuff like psp,ps,painter and so on. That computer was to slow for all that and i had to buy a new one. VISTA-
that made my life hell and i almost gave up computing again. But i had windows 7 installed now and thats much better!!!
Im trying to make simple animations. The only thing is, whatever i choose for speed in animationshop, there is now difference, everything rushes by, no slow movements are possible. So i staarted looking for a programm to do simple animations and thought i found it in Ulead 5. But when i wanted to purchase it i was told it dowsnt exist anymore... so now i dont know what to do.
Maybe someone can tell me what is an easy animation programm like animationshop and does work like it should. ???

Bye,
Marion

Welcome to the forums,

Since Win7 is the newest operating system out, not all old programs will run well if at all on it. Animation Shop is such an antiquated program I'm amazed it will run on Win7. That was developed back when you needed at least a Pentium processor, not a PII, PIII or P4. It may be running fast because your new pc is a faster machine.

Programs like Animation Shop, GIF-5 have become more or less obsolete. The old animated GIF "image" is being replaced by the more modern Flash animation, SWF, and FLV. There are numerous flash authoring programs on the market. You may want to look at migrating to flash.
