Unlinked files

I've been away from my computer for awhile, but today I had time to go back and work on a project I had started in UVS8. Much to my disgust, although the projects were still there, UVS8 reported that the files needed to be re-linked...a process it wanted me to do clip by clip!

Any idea why this would have happened? This type of program behavior is why I switched from Pinnacle Studio to UVS...I'm VERY DISGUSTED!

Has anyone upgraded to UVS9 and found that these problems don't occur?

I've spent the last half hour looking at the product info for Adobe Premiere elements...tempting...

That's a result of the Daylight Savings Bug, which affects UVS' calculations of the timestamps. There is a patch for that for UVS 8, though it hasn't worked for everyone, and in my case, the patch refused to install complaining that it couldn't find UVS on my system.

I suspect/hope that this problem is fixed in UVS 9.
