I'm going to post some short vids for my company on the internet.
Is there a way to get my copyright, consisting of my URL, to persist thruout the entire 30 second vid or is there a better way to do this?

This could be done a couple of ways. The easiest and fastest way is to add a text-tile to a title track. Of course make the duration as long as your clip. You can make the text semi-transparent, by going into the Border/Shadow/Transparency.
You can also create an image file in your favorite image editor. The image should have a transparent background, and should be one of the formats that support transparency (PNG, GIF, TGA, TIFF). Then drop this into one of the overlay tracks.
You can even create an image clip from your text title within VS. With your text title on one of the title tracks, and maybe a green color clip on the main title track (for Chroma-Key purposes) go to the Tools Menu>Save current frame as Image. Then drag your newly created image to one of the overlay tracks. You'll need to set the Chroma-Key, to key out the green background, or any solid color background used. Set the desired transparency, and duration.
