Hi,

In Pro X2, when I go to Disc burning module, the MPEG-2 video clip I added is not showing or playing in the screen. Hence I am not able to mark chapter scenes. It is not playing with the remote control at the last but one screen.

However, I am able to burn the DVD correctly. So I assume it to be a display problem, probably directX issue.

Can any learned member advise please.

Hi Pillai

How many menu templates do you have?
I see lots in the Gallery
24 Smart Scene
29 Text menus
42 Thumbnail Menu
If you only have a few, have you installed the Extra Content pack that came with the X2 program.

If you need more do a search of the forum.
Or view the General Information & Downloads pages of the forum.

If you wish to create your own you will need photo Impact, how, there are tutorials available on the forum.

There are some DVD Menu Templates provided by members of the forums. They can be downloaded HERE. However due to the complexity of how the Movie Wizard works, it is not advisable to attempt to add or remove files that it must use to create the templates.

The Movie Wizard just uses existing video, image, and color clips, that are already on your system. It will cut a part of the clips you are editing, and place it in the appropriate locations along the timeline, adding overlays, other short video clips, decorations, images, flash animations to complete the video. It is possible to do everything manually, that the wizard does. Just examine the project after the wizard has dumped into the editor, if you do allow the wizard to dump it into the editor. If not, I encourage you to do so. Don't be scared to use multiple copies of a short segment of one of your video clips to produce an intro, or an outro. NLE (non-linear editing) is non-destructive, so you're not altering the video clips you've recorded and captured.

Try recreating one of the movie wizard's projects, doing so with your content. Using overlays and images that you provided, and manually placed in the timeline. Once you get that down, you'll find that the Movie Wizard is not all that great, and your personal creations are much better...;)
