Chapter Prblem

Post by Coral »

I have finished authoring a movie using DVD Workshop 2 including last patch. The problem is, which ever chapter point I choose, the movie always starts from the begining :?

Any ideas

A chapter is a point in the movie that you can select once the movie has started, so you might watch chapter 1 then select chapter 7, you cannot start from No.7 chapter point.
If you want to do this you need to make each of your chapters a seperate movie, called a title.

Are you creating your thumbnails manually or using a wizard?

Or if you have placed a template on the screen then drag the chapters onto the thumbnails

I shuld have explained myself better ! I split chapters by "Auto Add Chapters > Fixed intervals. This creates a number of chapter points which are visible vertically at the right of the interphase.

After finishing with the authoring I would test the finished work and at that point all chapters behave as they should.

After I produce the VIDEO_TS folder and try the movie from the desktop, whenever I click on any chapter thumbnail the movie always starts from the begining.

I have been using the "Auto Add Chapters > Fixed Intervals for years and this problem has only happend a couple of times.

sjj1805, I am using the wizard (third icon on the right)
