Where did your MOV file come from? Is it a QuickTime MOV, or possibly have some other Codec inside? I have a digital still camera (Kodak) that can shoot video clips, which are MOV files. However the codec used is MJPEG, which can also be wrapped inside AVI containers.
Have you been able to edit them before? If so, what has changed on your system since?

Something created on a Mac, generally will not be easily added to VS. For example, a Q.T. (MOV) video created on a Mac will probably be rejected, as opposed to a Q.T. (MOV) video created on a PC.
Did your original source video clips come from a digital still camera, or camcorder? Could they be High-Def, which might be AVCHD?

I know it's a pain, but apparently you're going to need a different format... The new format you choose depends on the details of the format you now have and on what you are you are doing with your output. The less-compressed formats tend to be more trouble-free than the "more advanced", more-compressed formats. If you don't need high definition, DV/AVI (13GB per hour) is the best format.
You may not know the details of your MOV format, but it would be helpful if you can tell use what your "goal" is. ...Are you making a DVD, a Blu-Ray, a video to upload to YouTube, etc?
If possible, it would be best to go back on the Mac and render the project to a different format. Or, go back to the Mac and complete the project there, without Video Studio or a PC.
If that's impossible, you can use SUPER (FREE!!) or a similar program to convert your MOV file to a different format before editing in Video Studio.

Reading MOV Files in Ulead
OK I appreciate all this help.
I wanted to use the Mac to produce the Video, home video. The Mac seems to be able to process FullHD faster and more smoothly than Ulead. PLus if I dont use the Mac for this its completely useless
The drawback with I Movie is that it does not have the Automusic which is a must so I wanted to make the home video in I Movie and then bring it into Ulead to add the sound (Quicktracks)

What is the final destination for your production? DVD, web?
You say you created the MOV files with iMovie, but you don't say where you got the clips or what format they orginated. Depending upon that, what you might be able to do is render your production to AVI format with iMovie, which is a non-lossy format. Import that into VS and add the music, then export back.
Oh, missed the FullHD part, so don't know if the above is viable.

mov files in ulead
OK so ideally here is what would solve my issue....
I purchased a new Video Camera "FullHD". I am travelling around the world at the moment and have discovered after taking some video that Ulead does not handle this format very well. It works but is extreemely slow and jittery when trying to edit. Is there some sort of setting in Ulead that allows me to edit it more simply and smoother?
In comparison when I edit the same video in Mac, its very smooth and easy to edit. By the way they are MPEG-4 files straight off the camera.

Saying you have a 'new video camera "Full HD"' still doesn't tell us very much. Can you give us the brand and model, please.
Can you also right click on one of the clips that come from the camera inside VS (either in the timeline or library window) and chose Properties. Then copy ALL the properties here, please...
That way we will have a much clearer idea of exactly what we are dealing with. I am assuming that it is AVCHD video, but there are an increasing number of camcorders using the new upper bitrate standard of 24 Mbps which emerged after X2 (let alone VS11) came onto the market and thus cannot be handled properly by the program.
