Importing Chapter names into DVD Creation

Post by rytel »

I have VSPX2. I finished editing my video in VS. I created chapter points and names in the chapter point manager module. When I try to create a DVD my chapter points are imported but not with the names I created in VS?

I know I'm probably missing something easy here? Also can you point me to a thread on creating DVD's with VSPX2.

Thanks for your help

Not tried but you might have to use the VSP project file to preserve the chapter names. I do it the other way and create an edited video first. That preserves where the chapters have been set but not the associated names.

And I never both trying to set either chapter points or their names in the editing module. I do it all in the burning module when making my menu and it works every time... including remembering the names!

Chapter names

Post by rytel »

OK I created chapters in the DVD authoring module but the program will not let me create individual names for the chapters. The program names all the chapters, automatically, with the time indicated on the clip where the chapter pointer is located.

I am able to change the title and clip names but I am unable to advance beyond that screen to see the chapter menus and rename them.

Renaming Chapters

Post by rytel »

With a little searching I found a good thread on the problem I am experiencing with renaming chapters,

http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... a8a1968096.

It just seems a waste that you are given the option of naming chapter points in the Edit module but you can't import them over to the Burning module. I would like to add that to the wish list in future versions.

Hopefully they will finally fix this. It has been brought up numerous times, and suggested to be fixed the same.
