NeroMediaPlayer rather than UleadVideoStudio files
On capturing video from my SonyDigital Video Camera DCR-HC24E, to VideoStudio 11plus, I find all the captured files are loaded under NeroMedia Player rather than UleadVideoStudio. I have tried to remove/re-install UVS 11plus and repair but to no avail. Do I need to change my UVS or computor settings to overcome this as I find it rather tiresome to have to use NMP.

What do you mean "all the captured files are loaded under NeroMedia Player"? When you capture with VS you set the folder where the captured clips are to be stored.
With that being said, if NeroMedia is taking over your clips it sounds like any changes need to be with NeroMedia (settings, uninstall, etc.), not VS.

You simply need to alter windows file associations.
