Asian/Hindu Wedding Videography

Post by jowauk »

I have a client who has booked our videography for their conventional church wedding and who have now also asked if we can also handle their separate Hindu ceremony which is occuring prior to their Christian church based event.

This will be the first Asian/Hindu ceremony we have done (and the client knows this of course) and we will expect some steer from them concernng the differences in the flow and process for the day.

If any members are able to offer any guidance on the key aspects of the day and to what degree it differs from the usual Christian ceremonies or Civil ceremonies I would be happy to hear from them.

Regards

John

The differences in a Hindu wedding and a COE wedding are not really relevant to Video Studio, are they?

Since it appears there is not any relevance, I've moved this to the appropriate forum.

I've not done one, got asked once when I used to do a fair few weddings, but didn't fancy it so quoted a decent rate and got turned down.

I'd go to a couple of weddings adn see what goes on, this'll give you the best idea of what you'll need to do, also you get a feel for the venue if you can go to some at the same place.

If I was tasked with this I would search Google for some info.
