Popping sound on audio tracks

Hi,

I have created a file in Videostudio pro ultimate in which I have transitioned two music tracks together. When I play the file the transition runs smoothly and you can't tell when one track ends and the other begins. However, If I reopen the file or when I create a video file or dvd file there is a popping sound where the transition starts and sometimes slightly after. It also happens on a couple of music tracks which don't have any transitions. Can anyone help?

Have you manually updated Direct X, there is an announcement at the top of this forum.
