What is the best type of import file?

I'm sorry to ask a question that I am sure pops up daily, but my editing program will let me export to MF2 in a variety of ways. Of the following, which is the best: OMF 1.0, OMF 2.0, Quick Time Reference, Quick Time Movie, DV Stream, MPEG-4, AVI?

I have been doing it as a Quick Time Reference, but the conversion process in MF2 takes forever and I get odd artifacts sometimes.
