If you are using a Smart scene menu and you have chosen one that shows 3 chapters it will automatically create extra pages to accommodate from chapter 4 onwards. You can use the nav buttons to view these extra pages.

Thanks, but I was just wondering if there was a way to get more chapters on only one (the first) page.

Hi

Smart Scene will give 4 links per page.
Text and Thumbnail menu will give 8 per page.

VS 9 had a thumbnail template for 12 per page.
Not sure if you can import this to X2.

Older versions of VS had different limits depending on whether you were 16:9 or 4:3.
Not sure how X2 stands with this.

look at the Free Stuff, there may be templates that you can adapt.

How many Title/chapter points wee you looking for?

If you choose a text or thumnail menu with 8 per page, but you only have 5 chapters, then only 5 will show on the menu.

Thanks for the information Steve. In the mean time I realised my 5 chapter (100min) project. It all goes OK, but would it be possible on disc playback to auto stop the player when a chapter finishes ? (e.g. on the last scene). Or go back to the meu?

It depends - if you are confusing Chapters with Titles. Titles are separate video files that you insert into the burn module. They will each have their own link on the menu. Chapters are points within a Title that you can jump to. If you choose to make chapters they will each have their own link within their respective title on the menu.

It is possible to set it so that when a Title is finished playing it can either go on to the next Title, or go back to the menu. Chapters, on the other hand, will only keep playing until the Title is finished.

The setting is located in the Burn Module. At the bottom left corner are 3 icons. The cogwheel icon represents the Project Settings. Auto Repeat When Disc Playback Ends is checked by default. Unchecking that will give you the option to Continue To Play Next Clip or Back To Menu.

Thanks for the info Jeff. Indeed I confused chapters and titles, but I was working with 5 titles, and will change the project settings to "back to the menu"
