VS 11 + & Windows 7
Is VS11+ compatible with Windows 7?

Since VS X2 was not completely compatible with Windows 7, I doubt that its predecessor would be (fully?) compatible. In fact they have just brought out a patch which makes X2 compatible, but I doubt whether they will do the same for VS11.
You could always try it and see. Someone else has reported that an even earlier version worked with Win 7. And if you have the Pro or Ultimate versions of Win7, you could also try running it in XP compatibility mode.
