why can I not specify Frame size for MPG4
Vs11 Plus- I set video type as h.264-main in Compression tab but in General tab I can only pick from Standard frame size drop downs the user defined is greyed out. Everything else works fine. any ideas?

If you have only VS11+ and never applied the update patches and packs which make it VS11.5+, that could be your answer. VS11+ appeared about the time that AVCHD/h.264 first appeared, and was extremely limited in what it could do with the format. The patches and 11.5+ pack rectified a lot of the problems...

yes I have vs 11.5.0157.2 plus
Ken - sorry to not be clear. I have all patches in. can still not specify frame size, only have drop downs. - Steve
