DV-to-DVD Wizard does not work

Hello,

I have a Canon FS10 Camcorder, which allows transfer of mpg2 files to computer via USB connection. I hooked up the camera, started VS ProX2 and then chose the DV-DVD wizard. The screen that comes up is dark, I am unable to scan the files into the computer.

Please help

... ummmm.... when it says 'DV-to-DVD', it means it. You are transferring mpeg-2, not DV.

You need an IEEE1394 firewire cable.

...or to phrase Steve's suggestion another way: you need a camcorder which has an IEEE1394/Firewire connection, and I am afraid your camcorder does not. Camcorders which do have such connections are mini DV standard definition camcorders or else high definition HDV models.
