Resizing clip on overlay track while in motion

Post by Condemor »

Hello

How can I get the effect of someone being shrunk? Basically resizing a clip, making it smaller and smaller while it is playing.

I presume what I'd need is some kind of Pan and Zoom, with the Zoom starting at 100% and going to 10%. But Pan and zoom effect only lets me set the minimum to 100% and then increase from there. Can I do the opposite?

Thanks

Currently with VS, at best you can fake a moving path, and it generally looks faked. You need to use the Crop Filter and numerous key-frames.

Yes, I've never understood why the Pan & Zoom filter lets you increase beyond 100%, bot not the other way around. :?

BestI have managed to come up with using VideoStudio is:
VideoStudio Moving Path Tutorial

Up until now I tend to use MediaStudio Pro if a project requires moving paths. It is something we have repeatedly requested in our "Wish Lists"
It is the first thing that any of us look for when a new version is released and up until now has been the biggest source of disappointment when we have found that it has still not been included.

We are of course continuing to apply the thumbscrews, burning oil, rack and have been throwing tomatoes at the effigy of Corel in our stocks! in an attempt to get them to listen and include it in VideoStudio X3.

Fingers are crossed.
