Hi all,
So glad I found this forum. Corel is not exactly generous with their instructions.
I downloaded a trial version of VS X2Pro but when I entered the purchase key after paying for it it would not work. Uninstalled and downloaded again from the link in the purchase email and that worked but I got VS X2.
My version number is 12.0.106.1
The main difference I can see so far is that I have no Toolbar buttons for Track Manager and Surround Sound 5.1
Also, is it normal for a 2.04 gb mpg file to grow to over 7gb with just a few titles and crossfades, 5secs of music and a still image added?
I have lots more questions but I think this will do for starters.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me,
Regards,
Klaus
What version VS do I have

I think you should contact Corel and ask what is going on. I haven't heard anyone refer to X2 having 106 in its version number. But then again, I can't recall anyone on the forum using just the vanilla version of X2 as opposed to the Pro and Ultimate versions. As far as I am aware, the Pro version uses 98 and Ultimate 96, so I am assuming the 106 indeed refers to the vanilla version. If you paid for Pro, ask Corel for the correct link...
