Cannot create iso image

Post by gind »

Why when creating a blu ray image do I get to 3. output and I can tick "create to disc" & "create blu ray folders" but not "create disc image". I am using Moviefactory 7.
I have to do this as the computer that I am creating the moviefactory projects (laptop) is diffrent than the one I am eventually burning the disc on (desktop) and need an easy way of transfering the compleated project.

Well applied the 2 service packs which made no diffrence at all !
I am using Windows 7 64 bit and MF7 worked fine before the patch`s and still works fine post patch`s - well thats apart from the "create disc image" STILL greyed out - AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH

Welcome to the forums,

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think that it just is not possible to burn Blu-Ray ISO image files. I know it's not possible using VideoStudio, and think that DVDMF is the same. They only allow Creating folders, or burning to disc for Blu-ray..:(

OK thanks for that - yes use to have no probs when I was doing normal def videos (creating iso) - looks like my only choice is to upgrade my laptop to include a BLU Ray burner.

Or create the folders and use those to burn from instead?
I assume this can be done with BluRay folders like it can be done with SD ones.
