Hello Everyone:
I have completed creating my menu for a movie file (.avi), with inserting a custom sound file music track, and inserting a custom menu background image (motion menu). I have previewed what I have done, and everything is perfect.
Now, I am ready to burn.
As soon as I press the burn button, I get a warning that my project is larger than the destination (DVD drive E, 4.7GB). The project size is 5.8GB. I have gone back and deleted some of the attributes of the menu to make the project smaller. It is still larger than the destination.
However, MFPro7 gives me the option to either pressing NO to go back to revise elements my project. Or pressing YES to attempt to fit the project on the DVD disc.
Is there an advantage or disadvantage of pressing YES to have the project fit on the disc? Is there any affect on playback on a DVD player?
BTW, I realize that I should convert my AVI to MPEG2 file. But when I do, the aspect ratio of the MPEG2 is distorted. I indicate 16:9, but I get 4:3 (on steroids). So I remained with the AVI file. I have tried numerous conversion programs.
