Red line above timeline

Post by RichardT »

I have found a bit of a problem editing a video. I have been working all afternoon - quite satisfactorily. Now I notice that one of my clips has a think red line against it in the timeline - what does this indicate?
The effect is that if I try to play the project - from anywhere at all - it always jumps to the start of this particular clip.

I'm not sure what I have done - but I hope someone can get me out of it!!

Regards

What you did was set a Mark In or Mark Out point while in Project Mode, instead of Clip Mode, and set what is called the Preview Range.

To remove, underneath the Preview Window you will see the blue Trim Bar. Directly underneath that are two triangles, representing the Trim Handles. While in Project Mode, drag the left triangle all the way to the left, and the right triangle all the way to the right.

Thanks so much - that was it. I knew it must be something simple, but I am not all that familiar with the s/w.

Thanks again
