Can MF6 make HDDVD with multiple audio and subtitles?

Post by pkh »

I am new to this program. Have used freeware tsMuxer to make AVCHD/BD with multiple audio and subtitles and playback with BD player. Many people mention MF6 for HDDVD authoring so I wonder if it can do the same in making HDDVD.

MovieFactory only has the ability to create ONE audio and ONE subtitle track.
If you can find a copy of DVD Workshop 2 anywhere you will be able to achieve your aim, unfortunately Corel no longer sell it on their site.

The only affordable software (<$500) that I know of that can author DVDs with multiple subtitles & soundtracks is DVD-Lab, and it cannot author Blu-Ray. (I have DVD Workshop, but like Steve said it's no longer available. And, it doesn't author Blu-Ray and it doesn't run on Vista or Windows 7.)

I don't know about their Blu-Ray capabilities, but if you have the budget, check into the Sony Vegas and Adobe offerings.

Oh, I read somewhere that TMPGEnc Authoring Works ($100 USD) can make a DVD with two audio tracks (and it can do Blu-Ray), but I don't see anything about multiple audio tracks on their website.

Ooops - sorry if I misled you - DVDDoug is of course correct, DVD Workshop does not create Blue Ray Discs.
