Re: error installation
It sounds rather like you had a faulty back up disc, often by attempting to move the files over the the hard drive you get an error message to let you know the disc is faulty. Do you have access to an alternative computer?ramdaspillai wrote:Dear Mr. Steve,
I copied the program to my hard disk and run. it doesn't work. after i click the set up and the installation shield opens and after it reads into a quarter of the progress bar the error message appears.
I have XP Prof Service Pack 2 installed and kaspersky internet security 2010 anti-virus running. I disabled the anti-virus and tried, still no success.
what could be the problem?

Pillai

VS 12 has no sound after rendering
I am managing with the VS 12 now with the available transitions etc.
I have come across a problem. I rendered an avi clip to MPEG 2 with dolby digital and there is no sound when it plays in windows media player 9.0. however it plays with sound in winDVD player.
when I re-rendered it with LCM stereo sound it plays well. what would be the problem in using dolby 5.1.
regards,
pillai
