Hello,
I am quite new to HD editing. Being literate with SD video editing, and DVD authoring, I am a little bit lost with the gazillion options for HD movies.
I found out in another topic that the field order to be used for conversion and playback is driven by the input device (also not sure), ie. the recorded video footage.
I tried to check the format of the mov file in which Canon 5D MkII saves the video, but I could not find related info in the file properties. It is uncompressed 1920*1080, 24 bit, 30 fps video.
Does anyone have info on that?

HD is typically Upper Field First.
