PIX3 file assoc, not staying in wind 7?

Post by brucefl »

Installed windows 7, and when I clicked the files to be assoc with PI they won't stay?
I was going to try to do it manually but their are 2 .exe in PIX3, one is PI launcher. 610 kb, then I havve one iedit_ , 11182kb

Should I use the laucher to try.
I have gone to preferences several times and changed it but still won't work for opening

I can't even get it to recognize ufo. Just tif and png are the only 2.
thanks Bruce

I think there was a similar issue with UFO files on Vista.

is their a update or work around?

If I want to assoc. manually then do I use the PI launcher, or the PI? Because it has to .exe programs?
thanks Bruce

What problem? I installed PIX3 on my new Vista SP2 laptop and it works fine, including the associations? Double-clicking on .UFO documents launches PIX3.

I use the "PI Launcher" for the association.
