Using ulead video studio 8.0, I could not load any *.avi file. That includes the opening video files supplied with ver. 8, including the intro files v01.avi etc. It also rejects my video *.avi files which I had used previously. I get the error 17101:7:1 unable to open file. Windows media player and realplayer have no problems.
I bought ver 11 plus and it still has that problem.
I have tried system restore which only goes back to May. I tried the oldest restore date and am told no changes have been made.
Any suggestions?
