As I have (and need) Flash Player 9 then as this is a later version than the one that comes with VS x2 and allowing for the fact that only one version of Flash Player can go on one PC then I think I am doomed not to be able to use the Flash animations that came with VS x2?
Any ideas for a workaround on this?

Thanks Jeff. I had already tried that including downloading the Flash.ocx from the internet all to no avail. This idea doesn't seem to work with VS x2. All the postings refer to VS 10. I might try a VS x2 Repair next, though I doubt this will help as the problem is in Flash not VS, I think.

Had it worked with X2?

Jeff, Don't know, had never tried it before!
Steve, Thanks, have copied the ocx file to C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash but still no joy I'm afraid
I do have FLash CS3 Professional installed. I wonder if that is the problem?

Flash comes with just version 7 of the Player. However, In view of the fact that I installed CS3 after VS I thought I would do a clean install of VS. The animations now work perfectly and I have still got Flash Player 9.vidoman wrote:John,
Does Flash CS3 Pro come with several flash players? I use SwishMax 3, and since the introduction of SwishMax, they include flashplayers 4 through 10. So far I have not had any issues using or playing the flash animations in VS X2.
So problem solved.
Thanks for all the help
