Computer settings

Post by stelch »

Hi
I have just bough a new desktop PC and installed the old reliable XP pro to run VideoStudio X2. Could you please let me know what computer setting I should modify so as VS to run "perfect" I know there was a posting some time ago about this but I can't find it even using the search facility.

Hi Stelios.

For starters:-

Manually update Direct X, there is a link at the top of this forum relating to this.

Install the Patch for X2 from the Corel web site.

Appendix D of the manual explains various System Tweaks.

Unfortunately I don¡¦t think there is such a thing as X2 running perfectly, but then again I don¡¦t have the program.

The only problem I have is the occasional error message after shutdown. But since that is after I shut it down, I would have to say mine runs pretty perfectly.

Probably just jinxed myself.
