I'm trying the load a Direct X file that has 5 bmp files related to it.
Of course, the Direct X file is one object with no separate parts - so, when I attempt to load one of the 5 bmp files the image fills the entire object, versus just the portion that it is directly associated with.
Therefore, do does one load a bmp file, my guess is a texture, to the Direct X object with that file only showing up - for example as texture for the mantle portion of a fireplace object?
If there is related training covering this - please direct me to that training.
