Hello,
I guess you'd call me the perennial lurker. I drop in occasionally to see what ideas others have an often find answers I need. I'm a retiree who on sometimes digitizes 8mm film, videotapes, etc to clean them up
and help a friend. I've been with VS since version 4 or 5 and don't expect to move away from it . . . I hate learning curves.
I've got a setup for moving my dvr output directly into my PC and when something is worth the effort, that I do.

Good to be back and looking at the new view of the Forum!
