JPEG Compatibility on Blu-Ray players

JPEG Compatibility on Blu-Ray players
I am just about to invest in a Blu-Ray player and whilst looking through what is available at my budget level, I see that some models are JPEG compatible and some are not. Does that mean that if a video has still jpegs in it they will not show?
