Cannot locate Video Filters.

Post by corelito »

I secect a video clip that I made and go Attribute and there is no selection for DeBlock, DeSnow or anti-Shake.
The blue box where these effects are named as shown in the help files are nowhere to be found.

Did these filters perhaps not load when I installed the program?

Have you tried:-
Clicking the drop down arrow next to "Video" on the top of your screen-selecting Video Filter-then you will see the filters shown in abc order starting with "anti shake" scroll down the find the others.Drag the required filter onto your clip in the timeline and customise it if you need to. ................Ken

Yes, I have tried that but I see no selection for 'Video Filter' or the word 'filter' at all for that matter.

With the clip in the timeline, Click the "Effects" tag, then click the white arrow head to the right of "Film". This will open a dialogue, the fourth item from the bottom is Video Filter, Click on this.
All as this screenshot

This is a fairly common problem. A "Search" for "video filters" would have led you to the following thread. Please read:

Thanks for the link Black Lab. The solution described has worked (so far). I can't understand why Corel has allowed this problem to leach into Ulead 11 when they must have been aware that it was in Version 10?

Makes me wonder if there are some other goodies I'm being cheated out of when I laid down my hard earned cash for this Corel product.

Again, thanks for your help.

As far as I know the video filters are the only such problem that has cropped up from time to time.
