I have a movie where certain scenes of the film engages in French and others in English.
Is there a way to only include subtitles in certain scenes of the video? (i.e., I only want to include subtitles in certain scenes of the movie). Scenes in French are quite long and then the English scenes come later. People watching this movie will not enjoy the film if they can't understand the French scenes.
Any ideas?

If you have VideoStudio then you can create your subtitles - selectable with the DVD remote control as shown in the following guide:
Create Subtitles with VS11+ for use in MF6+ (Video)
If you do not have VideoStudio then as the previous poster has suggested - a dedicated subtitling program would be your best option.

I thank you both for your advice on this. This is my first time hearing about programs dedicated to making subtitles. Though I am not new to computers, I am new to the world of different components in making DVDs.
Thanks again. . .
