Changing the bit rate and rendering time

Post by Banji Abereoje »

Hi all,

While complying with the recommended procedure for success with VS, I want to find out the implication of changing some values in the Video properties: if indicating 6000 kbps or 3000 kbps VBR has to do with rendering time. I know this has a great deal to do with trimming the video size to disc capacity and video quality but does this reduce / elongate the rendering time?

If I change the 70% default of speed quality to say, 100% what difference does this too have vis a vis rendering?

Thx in adv.

As all systems are different why not try it then you will know exactly what difference if any it makes, Tha's how most of us gain this sort of info.

Rendering times will increase.
Whether you see an increased quality is debatable.
I always use the default setting.
Final quality will depend on the quality of the original video.

But otherwise, there will not be any difference at all in rendering times, regardless of the bitrate you use...
