VS8 & Live stream

Post by Banji Abereoje »

Hi ALL,

Pls, how do I do live stream with VS8 or 10. I need to transmit a live event to Projector screen to a large audience using my digital cam (Sony TRV480). Pls what are the workflow settings and devices I need to have?

I appreciate.

What do already have available to use? Do you have a projection system? If not you're going to need something like this, http://www.viewsonic.com/products/proje ... ro8100.htm. They are very pricey, running around $1,000 (US) on the low end, to several thousands for the professional ones. Depending on the projection system, you'll need certain types of cables and connections. Does your PC have, USB, RCA Composite, HDMI ? USB from a PC I'm afraid is not going to sustain the transfer speed needed for video.

I've never attempted to use VS, which is a video editing program, to stream video. I'm really not sure if it will provide a continuous steady stream. If possible I would look at not using VS, and something that you can plug directly into your camcorder.

Thanks for your concern.

I already have a SONY camcorder (TRV480), laptop, vga cable, projector & screen. The projector can be connected to my laptop thru the vga cable.

That all......

Hope to hear from you soonest.

Thanks in adv.
