Good fellas,
Using VS8, can’t I import .vsp file into the Timeline to add to the other .vsp file already there to make a single video. I tried to do this & error message of file mis-match kept coming. I know this is possible with Share > Create Disc > Add VS project. But I want it on my main Timeline to still add one or two things more to the video.
I was able only able to access each .vsp file with File > Open Project. Pls any help?
Thx in adv.

You can't open two VSP files (Video Studio Project files) at the same time. What you could do to achieve what you suggest is to create a video file of each of the projects and then import them into a new project like any other video file.

Hi
Importing a VSP to the timeline is called ¡¥Nesting¡¦
One or more projects inside another.
I would class this process as advanced editing.
I do not use this process but prefer to render/create a video file of each project, then add these to the timeline.
Each project you add has to be good in its own right, that is -- fully functioning.
If you do opt for the nesting option then you may encounter error messages.
I would use VS 10 rather than the old VS 8 program
