VS X2 - Poor video quality for trimmed clips

Post by tt2ride »

Hi,

I was trying to trim and merge a few video clips together. I have observed that once the video is trimmed, the quality of the playback video (at timeline edit mode) became poorer (at the Project level). Also, I have noticed that the audio level is lower too. But when I viewed the trimmed video at the clip level, the quality is good. I am using HD video files from Sony.

Is this normal and will this affect the final quality?

Thanks!

Not unusual I think. The preview screen is only what it says a Preview. It does not necessarily reflect the final quality.
