Timeline

Post by djblackburn »

Hello -- I'm having an issue with a red line that appears atop my timeline. It prevents me from playback. One support person said it is related to the audio view, but I don't think that is right. How do I get rid of it, and what does it mean? Help?

It means you've set some in an out points while in Project view.

Move the timeline marker to the begining and click the "Mark in" then move ther marker to the end and click Mark Out"

The Red Line will dissapear.

Below the Preview Window is a blue bar. Beneath that are two triangular Trim Handles. If one of those Trim Handles is somewhere along the blue bar (not at the end) the red line will appear. Moving both Trim Handles to each end of the blue bar will remove the red line.
