What are your other issues, if we know what they are we may be able to help. Unfortunately nobody here works for Corel, so have no idea if this marraige will ever come. Have you tried asking Corel?

Whilst VideoStudio can capture video from a wide range of sources including Hauppauge TV cards - my opinion is that capturing is best done using the software intended for that purpose.

Hauppauge have their own viewing/recording software WinTV2000 - this is the software I use when recording from my TV cards. You then import the captured video into VideoStudio.

My opinion of the capturing abilities of VideoStudio is that this is a convenience tool included to make the program an "all rounder". Primarily the program is intended for editing videos. The capturing abilities become useful if you happen to come by a piece of hardware - perhaps second hand - for which you do not have its own propriety software available.

Well there's the answer to your problem then!
if the software dedicated to the Hauppauge TV card doesn't work you will not have much luck with third party stuff. The first thing I would look for is updated drivers for your TV Card. If that fails then perhaps a visit to the Hauppauge User Board might be worthwhile.

Or this one
