80041c21 error on Vista machine using Video Studio 8

I am trying to make a DVD on my new Vista machine and I am getting 80041c21 error. I have read some posts here - the suggestion is to apply patches to Ulead Video 8. However I only found manual file on Corel site. Please advise. Thanks

The simple answer is the Video Studio 8 simply does not work with Vista, period. The first version that did was VS10, but it required a patch.

I am surprised you even got it to install on a Vista machine!

The patches are not going help with Vista related issues. The PDF file (manual) contains links to download the patches. That is if you went to Corel's updates and patches for VS8.
