Slide show of photos display as stripes using DVDMF 2.5 SE

I am using DVD MF 2.5 SE to put my wedding photos onto a DVD with music. The first chapter is okay up to the last few photos. The next chapter show a few photos and then the rest is shown as stripes of colours on a black background. I am assuming that this is some sort of memory problem. I increased my virtual memory but that does not help. I thought I could do one chapter at a time but when trying to burn the second chapter it wants to erase what is already on the disc. Has this happened to anyone? I suppose I could keep the chapters short then do them one at a time if I new how to get them all on the dvd at the end with the title. I am running a Pentium4 1 gig ram Can anyone help me out there? I would appreciate it so much.
