Hi all, just joined the forum. As I have to make at least one post to 'activate' my account within 24 hrs....
I have a quick question. I know it's probably been asked before in a different form, but here goes.
Can anyone explain why , when activating playback of a picture slideshow the image immediately 'blurs' or loses focus by default? I've read all the posts re image size, jpeg formatting etc, and have tinkered around with many member's recommendations on this. However, it seems to happen no matter what the quality of images are.... VSX2 seems to take a step backward in terms of image quality as soon as the clip/montage is reviewed. Any suggestions.
Many thanks.
'Immediate' loss of focus quality on Playback in VSX2 12

Hi Mr B
Welcome to the forum
A little annoying but not a problem.
This effect has been with Vs for a long time.
I have just looked at VS 10 with still images and it does exist.
I have been aware of this for a long time, I just ignore it. I think my brain just blanks it out.
This effect does not show in the completed rendered video.
Preview playback does not always look top quality and should not be used as a representation of the final rendered video.
As an aside----have you manually updated Direct X, read the announcement post at the top of this forum.
