Split by Scene

Hi,

I captured a bunch of tapes as 1 file per tape using Videostudio. Now I am using the split by scene function and the file splits by scene, but all clips have the same recording date/time. Is this information lost by capturing the tape as a whole or is there a way to get it back? Please Help. I am using VS 12.

It seems that the date/time code info is intact. Microsoft Movie Maker is able to split the large video file by scene and display the date/time of each clip. Why does VS show the same date/time for each clip? Is this a bug? There doesn't seem to be any way to view this info with VS.
