Stop Movies playing one after another

Post by savage »

Sorry, if been answered before but could not find an answer.
I've almost finished my DVD, the menu has 3 different Movies, which when finished I want to go back to the menu screen.
At the moment, they will continue onto the next movie.
I cannot find where to stop this...

Thanks
Trevor Andrew

Hi

Share Create Disc.
Select the ¡¥options¡¦ cogwheel¡Xlower right.

View / change the options under the Navigation Control panel

Controls the titles not the chapters

Thanks, but don't have that.
If I go Share > Create Disc.
The next screen doesn't have an option cogwheel, what ever this may be.
Has Settings and Option button on the lower left, but can't find anything to prevent the movies playing after each other.
I got version X2

In fact Trevor made a slight mistake. It *is* in fact the Options icon in the bottom *left* of screen, not right. When you click on it, the in the bottom left of that screen, you will see that by default the little box beside 'Auto repeat when disc playback ends' is ticked. Click on that to untick it.

The the little window below that ('Clip Playback') becomes active. Click on the drowdown arrow, and choose 'Back to menu'...

Hmm, thanks but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

If I click on the Settings and Options Menu, it comes up with 2 choices >
Preferences and Disc Template Manager.

Going into either of these doesn't have that option.

Preferences has the following:
VCD player compliant
Anti=Flicker
Resume all Confirmation Dialog boxes
TV System:
Max 30mb menus
Working folder
Advanced >
Create Index file for Mpef
NTSC / PAL safe colour
TV safe area.

Disc Template has what type of format quality setting for the DVD

You need to click on the little cog wheel symbol then it opens the Project Settings. At the bottom under "Navigation Controls" you will see the Auto repeat when disc playback ends then if you uncheck this the "Clip Playback" options become active, there you can choose from the drop down menu "Back to Menu"

Hi
Sorry guess I don¡¦t know my left from my right.

There should be two further icons immediately to the right of the Settings and options icon
One for the aspect ratio 16:9 or 4:3
The other is the Project Settings, this allows you to set the navigation controls.

I am using VS 10
I cannot see a keyboard shortcut for this option.

Have you Manually installed the latest Direct X, there is a link at the top of this forum.

Clicking Next, has the same option, no other options exist..

I'm on Windows 7, so has the latest Direct X,
Cannot see two other icons to the right of the Settings and options icon, and to get to the last screen to burn the disc, I actually have to press Alt + N

Maybe an issue with Win 7

Yes it is. There should be two more symbols to the right of "Settings and Options"
Read through the Win 7 thread at the top of this forum and the answer to get them to show is there somewhere

Have also posted this in the Windows 7 thread...

What a mission!...

I'm on Windows 7, so has the latest Direct X,
The fact that you have Windows 7 means nothing, since DirectX is a manual update. I would recommend trying it as it fixes many preview issues in VS.

So is all now well?
BTW Alt+J works on VS12 with WinXP too!

and so do I
The manual update does fix things that the windows auto update doesn't, at least for xp and vista it made a difference.
