What does that message mean?
I am using DVD-R the error message says it supports them.
Even changed the DVD writer.
Maybe it is because of some DVD writer programs I installed lately.
Before I start deleting them does anyone have an idea?
Sometimes also hangs on the preview window. I reinstalled the software to no avail.

Could very well be.Maybe it is because of some DVD writer programs I installed lately.
Sounds like a DirectX issue.Sometimes also hangs on the preview window.

Weird indeed.
Some of my DVD's thought they were CD's
I tried using Nero yesterday and it worked OK so I bought a new CD writer. This time I used the disk that VS told me:
Does not support DVD-Video in DVD-ROM disc. The message is wrong and should say CD-ROM disc. Trying the errant disk in Nero I was told that it needed a DVD and I had inserted a CD-ROM disk.
Seems only the top discs (so far) were bad now VS works fine.
Thanks for the help.
I need a drink.
