Motion Menu's

I am currently using Movie Factory 3. One of the main drawbacks I've found is when creating the DVD menus, it is quite restricted. I'm tempted to buy VideoStudio 9, and have the following questions:

Do you have better control on the DVD menu?
For motion menu's, is there a set time or can you select? Ahead Nero seems to handle motion menu's better.
Do you still have the option to launch a video before the menu loads?

Sorry for the basic questions, but I want to make sure before buying.

The menu options are really quite basic, though UVS 9 includes more templates than earlier versions did, additional customizations, and it adds 16:9 menu support.

Yes, you can change the motion menu loop duration, and you can also set a "First Play" video.

Is there a limit on how many seconds can be used on the motion menu? I've read it is set to 30 seconds. Is this true?

On an additional note, what is the quality of the chroma backgrounds (I think thats the term!)?

Yes, 30 seconds is the maximum loop length for motion menus.
