Got it! Thank you.
Hopefully last 2 questions: 1. Is there any way to add chapters and a submenu to a clip and then save it as part of a video file? 2. On the "preview " screen there is a button to "pre-render the menu'', would this be a time saver?

Authoring a DVD

Pre-rendering the menu is only used to view what your menu will look like when it is finished and it takes ages to perform its task. I would tend to stick to the default "quick preview" but it is a matter of personal choice.
